MarketOrder ExpressTM
OMS

MarketOrder’s existing legacy solution functions essentially as a “private ASP” with several retail stores connecting to a shared server hosted in the supplier’s distribution center. Although the Company will migrate from client/server architecture to Web based architecture, it will leverage core technologies underlying its existing product line.

These products are as follows:

OMS/DC
Receives, manages, and tracks orders for large distribution centers. It effectively integrates warehouse systems with a variety of retail back-office systems and handheld ordering devices. The OMS/DC provides comprehensive order management by incorporating a variety of features with its order entry capabilities, including holiday scheduling, multiple warehouse support, multiple store orders for chain distributions, item validation, item code conversion, voice response, statistics, invoicing confirmation and advanced report generation. The core technology underlying OMS/DC will serve as the blueprint for developing the shared infrastructure solution.

OMS/Handheld
This is our legacy handheld ordering system operating on handheld units manufactured by Symbol and Telxon. It empowers workers to easily make ordering decisions at the time and the place where replenishment decisions are made, such as the aisle in a grocery store. Using an onboard database, it allows workers to optimize ordering decisions by viewing order history, product information, and backroom inventory status. The Company has built extensive order processing intelligence and functionality into its handheld software based on many years of experience with its legacy product and deep domain experience.

OMS/InStore
Used in the retail stores, this toolset is used by the Company’s customers to consolidate orders from the handheld units and other disparate systems and send them collectively to the OMS/DC order collection system that resides in the supplier’s warehouse. It also helps retailers track order status and delivery schedules.
